Green Line cooling lubricants

Efficient cooling lubricants and sustainability are not in conflict – this is demonstrated by our GREEN LINE product line.

The clearly discernible climate change has far-reaching consequences for the economy and society as a whole. So we too have asked ourselves how we can contribute to protecting the climate in future by means of an appropriate selection of climate-friendly resources for our range of cooling lubricants.

When designing our new GREEN LINE product line, Riedel opted for the use of renewable resources. These intelligent plant-based alternatives gave rise to new opportunities and possibilities for the environment as well as for people and machines in the metalworking industry.

The environmentally friendly products made from renewable resources, such as plant-based esters and polymer based cooling lubricants, offer the following features:

• Bioresistant to microorganisms
• No foaming with soft water or high mechanical loads
• Excellent lubrication for tools
• Low odour
• Good skin tolerance
• No discolouration of aluminium, aluminium alloys and non-ferrous metals

In addition to this, we can therefore also counter the pressure on prices from the mineral oil industry and avoid the changes in oil prices
